According to Laminate floor coverings-Test method for the detemination of micro-scratch resistance,the Martindale method standard system and its relationship, wooden board products are tested for their wear resistance characteristics. Wear resistance is an important indicator of the quality of wooden board products, which directly affects the durability and effectiveness of the product. Wear resistance refers to the resistance to wear between wooden boards or other substances during repeated friction, and is used as a machine for wear resistance testing of wooden boards.

principle:
The sample is exposed to the scrub material for a predetermined number of rubs.  The changes of the surface are determined by gloss measurement and visual assessment.
